The Car: 1974 XB Ford Falcon 500 Coupe Mad Max Project
Color: Primer, Blue, Red
Interior: Restorable Tan / Brown "cores"
Details: The photos here tell the story. This 1974 Falcon 500 XB hardtop is a factory sunroof car, that MMC imported several years ago, and has been in private hands undergoing restoration and Mad Max conversion since. The conversion is only part way along, but the car already has the Mad Max Cars full front clip kit (including GT hood) fitted by the owner, and rear flares waiting for installation. Currently set up for a V8 and 4 speed, but no engine or trans are included with the car. Dash has tach and guages. Interior has good 4 speed console. Seats, tracks and interior panel "Cores" for recovering currently Tan/Brown and rough. A generally solid car that will need some rust repair. For example, the drip rails were beyond repair (and removed by current owner) but good used ones are included from an american torino. The front end chassis has been rebuilt including the steering box. The spindles are mustang units with brackets that allow use of '03 cobra units. The rear axle is an american 8.8 disk brake rear. The original Australian brakes, spindles, and disk brake rear are included. The rear wheels in the photos are not included. To many parts extra to list. The coupe is missing a useable windscreen and passenger side door glass, as well as one of the rear window regulators. It dose have the rear window both rear side windows and the driver door glass. The broken windscreen is still available and could be taped into the opening during shipping. Please see the photos, or email us for more details.
