This car holds an amazing place in TV history. The LAST 3rd Generation Pontiac to portray the Knight Industries 2000 (KITT) in a official Knightrider production, featuring David Hasselhoff no less. First, to be totally clear, this car was NOT in the original 1980s series (it is an 89 after all). It was featured in the Pilot Movie for the 2008 TV series, which also had a cameo from David Hasselhoff. Numbered 1559 in official documentation, this car portrayed the "Mothballed" KITT in Charles Graiman's Lab/Garage in the first few minutes of the episode. The car was prepared for the production by Picture Car Warehouse who built the Mustang Hero Cars for the show as well. This is the best possible place in the car's reconstruction to get it and decide what provenance it important to you. It is currently in cosmetically the same configuration is was as used on set, but comes with tons of parts to make the most of the car as KITT. This includes a Brennon Lectric Enterprises built Halogen Scanner, Wraith Innovations S4 nosecone, Tan interior and other parts from Billy Gunter, Interior Fiberglass from Jay Ohrberg, PMD seats and most all other 1982 TA parts needed, Turbocast rims with Bowling Ball hubcaps and tires ACTUALLY DRIVEN by David Hasselhoff, and much more! The 350 engine is freshly rebuilt, but retains the actual TPI as shown on screen. This car is all about the history and provenance. There can be only one "LAST" KITT, and this is it. Confirmed by the Knightrider Historians themselves (see the excerpt from their blog post about the car pictured here). Car comes with TONS of provenance documentation.
